Hi !
Problem :
This is a fact, actions are Localizable, but custom actions are not.
This is due to the fact that actions translation are written into the ReaperLang file, with and unique ID for each action.
Custom actions cannot be translated this way.
Idea :
Using a Tag system just as the
qTranslate Wordpress Plugin.
Exemple :
You create a custom action that you call
Rather than writte "My Custom Action", ou simply "Mon Action personnalisée" (cause you are French), you can writte
Code:
"[:en]My Custom action[:fr]Mon Action Personnalisée"
FR langpacks will display the [:fr] part of the code, and non-FR the [:en] part of the code.
Of course this impose that each theme have a custom two letters ID depending of the language.
This can be apply to Custom Menu !
but well...
what do you think of that ?
Do you think it is doitable ? Must I open a FR ?
Thanks for listening and for your support
