Default GUI issue - parameter font size too large in Waves plug-ins

Reaper: 4.32/64 (32 exhibits the problem also)
Hardware: Macbook Pro Retina, OSX 10.7.5
Waves version: 9

Hey, all -

I'm finding that the parameter values for Waves plug-ins (and only Waves plug-ins, at least so far) appear much too large for their GUI boxes and background. (See attachment for an example.) I've also had this issue running previous versions of Reaper on a Mac Pro running OSX 10.6.x (and with an earlier Waves version - I can't remember which). Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions as to a fix?

Thanks very much!

I had this same issue. I discovered that the Waves plugins were not yet Retina compatible. Waves has since issued an update. If you've never updated Waves on a Mac before, it can be a little tricky.

I found that the best method was to uninstall my Waves plugins, using the Waves Uninstaller (located at "Macintosh HD/Applications/Waves/Utilities/Waves Uninstaller).

After uninstalling, I updated the Waves installer (which can be downloaded at http://www.waves.com/content.aspx?id=96).

After updating the installer, I opened new installer, selected my plugins to install, and ran the installer.

After running the installer, all of my plugins were up to date, and the oversized font issue was resolved.

Weird -- I'd thought it might be a Retina compatibility issue, but since my previous non-Retina machine had the same issue, I ruled it out. I hadn't seen the latest Waves update, either, and installing the latest fixed the issue. Thank you!!
