Default Amplesound Acoustic Bass Plugin

Anyone using this plug in? I have it and am happy with it but looking for suggestions on how to use eq, compression, reverb, etc to get that true rich, honey coated stand up bass thump that you can feel in your gut.

Anyone have any suggestions?

They used to do a DVI plugin called Dynamic Acoustic bass, which I bought, but when Sonivox got bought out, something went wrong with this particular plugin on my studio machine, necessitating a clean reinstall. I still had my licence file and the download, but when I tried to reinstall it, it would not re-register on my system.
Contacted the new owner and they said it had been dumped because they had no way of supporting it (and presumably any other dumped Sonivox plugs) any more. Shame as I loved it.

However, I think the plugin you have is actually an acoustic bass guitar which is never going to sound like an upright bass, no matter what you do to it.

FWIW I still havent found an *affordable* double bass/upright bass virtual instrument that I like. Plenty of orchestral-oriented ones, though.

I liked the acoustic bass samples and the taylor guitar samples not so keen on the fender p samples well worth getting the ones you like.
I was impressed as for the price lower now....
