Classical guitar. I don't usually use a camera's built-in microphones when making videos but I did here and was reasonably happy with the sound.

Really nice playing as always. You have a great feel for that repetoire. The sound (camera recording) is ok, but there is a fair amount of hiss too. (edit: I have only listened through my crappy laptop soundcard at the stage, so take that with a grain of salt). Not quite as good as your best. I know I heard one of your videos that was way better than what I've managed so far, and I've tried half a dozen mics. Of course your supper playing helps too.

Thanks for your comments, hamish. Yep, the mikes are pretty noisy. I used an old Sony handycam - the digital tape kind and the moving parts are noisy as well as the mikes themselves. I also had a gopro over to my other side. One of the audio channels is from it and the other from the Sony. The gopro mikes are quieter but were picking up the mechanical noise from the Sony! Well, once in a while it's good to do a lo-fi recording just to appreciate fine gear!

couldn't miss this one. I always love a bout of classical guitar, something about those nylon strings. really like the fluid style, the fingers just flow across the strings.
It sounds a little stereo is that one mic?

Thanks Sammy. Two mikes - on the two cameras that were up though obviously only one camera was used for picture. The mic configuration was wide AB.

The print music for Carcassi's op60, which has 25 pieces in it, is here (since it's now in the public domain): http://boije.statensmusikverk.se/ebi...Boije%2094.pdf

Three of the sections I played:
