Default Excessive CPU usage when switching to standard UI with enabled envelopes (FIXED)

Justin,

please read "Surge VSTi hang" in your PM folder

or read it here again:

-> insert a VST(i) to a track
-> record arm the track (of you don't have "run fx when stopped" enabled)
-> enable an envelope of the plugin
-> now switch the UI to reaper's own UI

=> reaper "hangs" with massive CPU usage and has to be killed via taskmanager

happens here with

- Vember Audio Surge 1.5
- Ohm Force OhmBoyz 1.48

maybe some other users can check this with some plugins. first i thought it's caused by Surge, but now i found OhmBoyz having the same problem!

response from the surge developer:

edit: you actually even see a bit of these symptoms with the rea-plugins. take reagate for example -> open taskmanager and do the steps explained above -> cpu usage climbs from ~1% to ~15% here!? looks like reaper is updating some stuff much more frequently then when using the plugin's own gui. and if a plugin has really much parameters, then reaper "hangs" because it overloads my machine.

FIXED
