Default shut down software

awhile back there was a link to software that turned of all non essential programs to save on cpu load.
does anybody remember the name of the software and /or the remember where the thread is?

Correction, virus tracker picked it up as a major threat. Thanks for that!!

that's it, Smart close!, I couldn't remember the name.
my laptop was stolen and I'm trying to replace all the cool little programs I had that were on it. and that was a useful one.
like a dumbass I didn't back up or write down any of the info and now its gone, so thanks alot!

it picked up Smart Close as a virus? Curious.....what virus protection do you use?

As far as the download link....I just grabbed a random link.....I wonder if it's something to do with that particular link or place it links too.

I've never had any problems with it...and neither has my virus protection. I just use Avira.
