Default Can somebody help me from this comping?

What kind of action, codes, script, keys I have press to be able to see what's going on in those items?

That looks like show overlapping takes in separate lanes aka layers which CTRL+L doesn't affect FYI.

I'd suggest a couple of Kenny's videos on takes though...

I could offer a bunch of great tips on takes to make them quite useable, but if there are previously-held expectations from other DAWs, with the desire to bend/force reaper into those, then that won't really work out well - just as a general heads up.

It seems as though you've avoided using the takes system and instead are choosing to use overlapping items in a track (as Karbo noticed) to "make comps".

It's probably better to use the takes system instead.

I've seen someone use overlapping items in a track to "make comps" but I don't remember how they did it or if there's a video for it somewhere.

Actually this video doesn't show the problem. As I often say, Goia's video are pretty basic, moslty good with the very first approach on Reaper, there might be something in the other more advanced sections but I could not see anything that seems to explains it by the title of them.

I saw a video that was talking about this behaviour where you can listen to multiple lane altogether but I cannot remember where. Besides, I'm right now is a similar situation on another track were the tracks were not recorded but imported to create takes, and it is still behaving this way. And I really don't know how to have the other system.

I found the video but still no answer.
It is kenny Gioia :free items position.
Although, he says how to there but not how get out from it...so I'm keeping watching all those lanes on different levels when comping

If you have others I would love to have them if you don't mind.

Unfortunately my problem is still there as I think the solution is in the option: show "overalapping media items in lane", but unfortunately is greyed out.
Do you know any reason why it is? Maybe because there are already overlapping items in the song? It shouldn't actually matter as it is only a visualization issues and should not impact the way tracks sound....then...why is it greyed out?

Cheers
