Default Free impulse responses

I am looking at a Kenny video on mixing lead vocals.
At one point he says to add Reaverb and then download Free impulse responses from

https://grantnelson.co/article/1/lex...ulse-responses. Which I did.
Included in the zip file is an install text which says:

SPACE DESIGNER INSTALL

1) Put Big Gee's Lexicon 480L folder in :
Library / Application Support / Logic / Impulse Responses

2) Put BG Lexicon 480L folder in :
Library / Application Support / Logic / Plug-In Settings / Space Designer

How do I install this in Reaper?

Create a folder called IRs (or whatever) wherever you like.
open the zip file.
Extract the 'Big Gee's Lexicon 480L' folder to your IR's folder.
Add Reaverb to a track
click 'ADD'
click 'File'
Locate the IR's
open one in Reaverb
adjust your wet and dry to suit

I think the download is specifically earmarked for protools (.pst files) and Logic users, as in the text instructions, though the IR's themselves in the folder 'Big Gee's Lexicon 480L' are .aif so can be used in Reaper Reaverb.

I think that is it! Enjoy

Thanks a million RobertP. Where should I install the "IRS" folder? Could I add to a Reaper folder?

Personally, I have a specific drive for samples, libraries and stuff and put mine on that.

Good luck.

FWIW, I like to put things like IRs (both reverb and amp cab) in their own folders right under C: drive. So when I have to go looking for them to load, they aren't 10 levels down in the folder heirarchy

I keep 'em separate, too...."Cab IRs" and "Reverb IRs" folders.

Similarly, I have a desktop shortcut the opens a folder with subfolders with IRs, NAM captures, etc.

Another great way! All my Reaper projects are saved the same way, with subs for projects, renders, ideas and so on.
