Default Issues with Reaper License when users login

Hi,
New to the forums and hoping someone could help. We purchase about 20 licenses to install reaper in one of our ICT suites. I installed it using admin login and imported the license key. Works perfectly fine. When a new user logs-in and run reaper it comes up with the message about importing the license key. Its happening to all 20 machines and any new user that logs in.

Has anyone come across this issue before.

Any help would be appreciated.

The computers are running XP SP3 with full updates

regards

TG

If this makes sense will depend on where you installed it of course, but try copying the shortcuts from

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Desktop
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Start Menu\Programs

to

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs

This have worked for me in the past, but not always.

How many different users are there?

Hi, thanks for buying a site license, and feel free to email support at cockos with questions like this.

By default, the license is imported only for the current active user. If you wish REAPER to be licensed for any user on the computer, then simply copy the reaper_license.rk file to the same directory as the REAPER application itself (on XP, normally C:\Progam Files\REAPER). If you would like more specific instructions, please email.
