Default wdl-ol with OpenGL and GLFW

Hello

It is possible use wdl-ol as only vst/vsti object (sorry I have no idea how to call it, hope you understand what I mean) and GLFW for window and OpenGL?
I found some OpenGL example but it is for Mac.

Following this documentation is fine, but when I want do something like use wdl with GLFW and OpenGL I am lost, specialy for vst2/3.

I have experience with GLFW and graphic library, and I want use it for GUI instead IGraphics from wdl.

coming in iplug2... but GLFW is not appropriate for plugins. You can use PUGL on top of an iplug2 plugin

Why GLFW is not appropriate for plugins? I got positive answer from GLFW forum.
If I unerstand, in IPlug2 I can use OpenGL or only with PUGL?
And are there plans for when IPlug2 will be released?

GLFW wants to own the main app loop IIRC.

when its ready!

if you know where to hack you can get GL working with iplug1

Worth bearing in mind that apple is unfortauntely deprecating OpenGL in next Mac OS. It will still work for a while.

I'm the owner of VOSIMSynth. Please let me know if you have any questions about the code! While I agree that it is pretty hacky, I'd be happy to help you figure out how to get the current version of IPlug working with GLFW.

But again, your best bet is probably to wait for IPlug2 where the graphics interface is much more flexible.
