Default Roundness

"Roundness" was originally composed as an electronic piece, but in this performance the parts of the main synth are rearranged for the xylophone: these are two sequences that are repeated for almost the whole song, each in 5/4 but which, due to the bass harmonic rhythm, they are also perceived in 4/4, 3/4 and 7/4.
Some of the electronic sounds have been retained, the main parts of the song are all actually played with melodic percussion.

Listening with headphones / earphones is recommended. Feel free to subscribe to my Youtube channel :-)

The more I hear it ,the more I like it.
1st time I was glad for end section.
2nd time I felt much the same yet more at ease with xylophone.
Now after 3rd time I think it's got me.
To sum up after just 3 plays - It comes across as an piece created out of an excercise.

Creative expansion ......excellent as always.

Thank you for the nice words, I am pleased that the first time you managed to listen to it until the end (and also return to it the 2nd and 3rd time) :-D
I agree that the almost continuos xylophone loop could irritate a lot of people, so I think the bass is very important in this track in order to give it a sense of structure and harmony.
