This is much better! Thanks guys!

It would be even better still if it were possible to grab the marker by clicking on the text label too, but even this is a massive improvement.

Found a Bug (OSX version):

- Open Project Cleanup Window.
- Make sure that Window has focus.
- Keyshortcut CMD + A, to select all content, doesn't work anymore.

Thx in advance for fixing !

Not at my computer right now...

Would someone please mind confirming whether the new behaviour of gfx.init allows for setting window position as well as resizing using the "" input?

Thanks!

Might be worth considering - use I-beam for envelope lane when "No action" is defined (the "Track" context is being passed through).

Now, while the mouse drag has the same function above the track and envelope, the cursor changes. In the gif, it's not obvious that I can draw a time selection in the envelope lane too.

Thanks! i must tell that i am a bit disappointed because so manny good suggestions were made for CC/Envelopes/Media Explorer, but the power of orchestras showed in this forum section made the composition.
I ask Devs to try to do some electronic music and not rely on libraries in order to do interesting music.

Quick question with dev/pre vs RCs... how is it decided what gets rolled into the release? Like am I on dangerous territory having started a bunch of projects using the CC Curves? I know there's always a risk, but specifically with these (they're so useful!) is there a reasonable expectation that they'll stick around?

It's almost certain that CC curves will end up in a release at some point, but it might not be for a while.

Hey Deeb,

I can understand your frustrations. Not everything will go everyone's way. I think this is not a Orchestral vs Electronic music thing... more of a MIDI quasi-standardized workflow thing.

With regards to MIDI, typical orchestral MIDI mockup artists' MIDI practices are predicated upon efficiency and large templates (hundreds of MIDI tracks) giving them a unique expertise in the area of MIDI. Shortcomings are magnified when dealing with hundreds of tracks. And if you can't work quickly... well, you lose the gig. I think it's fantastic that the Devs listened to them. In the end, you have to present a case for a Feature Request... and ultimately it's up to the Devs. Short of that... learn how to script. I did

Also, and lastly, I also do electronica. 😄

Cheers.

+ ReaScript: fix potential crash after closing IDE with script running modal prompt
Cool! But a couple of times I got crash again. There is no logic. But much less often.
I also tested user input scripts that renders tracks (there is a link in my signature). I got crash exactly after rendering.
In other cases, so far so good

Cheers.

I know scripting an none of the things i am referering in PRES and CC discussion is scriptable.
Also i am good and happy with any additional feature even if i won't use at all. What i don't like is the force to push down any others perspective made by several members and the lack of support for electronic production issues in this forum sections. And in this case is clearly a orquestra/kontakt/libs music vs electronic music.

Also as you said "Shortcomings are magnified when dealing with hundreds of tracks. And if you can't work quickly... well, you lose the gig.".
But Same Happens for electronic music. The process steps and the time to make it happen and precision are our best friends, and clearly IMO, Cockos is missing this perspective otherwise things like Area Selection would not be a doubt at this point.

Cheers Thonex!
