Default Help with MIDI editing needed

Been working away happily for a couple of days with no problems editing a bunch of MIDI brass parts.
Chris Hein Horns in Kontakt,

Started a new project & played the first repeating figure in as recorded MIDI and then started copying it along the track in each place it needed to repeat.
Did it first with the regular MIDI editor and discovered that although the control code information I had added stays where I paste it, the notes don't.
I then discovered that this is also happening in the inline editor too.

Checked on the state of "preserve position in measure" and that is OK, so what the heck have I inadvertently changed that causes this behaviour?

Suspect I may have been working for too long as well....

Hi ivan,

If I understand you correctly, my preferred method of doing this (not saying it's best way, just my way, the lazy way) is to simply mark the required notes as a time selection in arrange view (normal view, not in line MIDI editor), then Ctrl Drag Drop to copy as often as required. Be aware though that this will create new items (which you can glue).

Not much use though if there's other notes in the time selection that you don't want copied ...

Default SOLVED! No fool like an old fool

My fault - after I finished spending most of yesterday struggling to get my new (Xmas present) NAS drive working I went back and realised I had more than one item in the track, instead of my usual 1 track 1 item. d`Oh!
