Markers Question

hi,
is it possible to set markers while the transport is runnig and the markers is set on Grid ?

I ´ve setup the ENTER(TN) key to set markers, that part is ok, no problem. My question is related to set the markers on the grid. In the actions list i only have the option to insert marker at current position or the SWS insert marker at edit cursor / at play cursor.

Would be nice to have the possibility to set markers at play cursor obeying the grid before or after.

I have to manually do it for every marker i create.

I have it setup on a custom action. Use it all the time. I’m not in front of my computer now but it involves:
1- Moving the edit cursor to the play cursor
2- Moving the edit cursor to the closest grid point
3- Entering a marker at the edit cursor

My problem with that is i have the edit cursor to not move with playhead, i prefer it this way, its stays right where i place it every time.
I am trying to figure out a combination of action for my problem, eheheh! Some help is appreciated

Try this custom action:

Save Edit Cursor position, slot 01
Move Edit cursor to play cursor
Insert and or edit marker at current position
Move Closest project Marker to edit cursor obey snapping
Restore edit cursor position, slot 01

Give it a name and a key shortcut et VOILÀ!
