Default Any chance of PathSync for Linux?

I had been using Unison on Ubuntu but that seems not to want to install on ubuntu 16.10, and the alternatives I've tried seem inferior to PathSync. Since I'm using PathSync on Windows, it would be great to have it available on Ubuntu as well...

Six years later, having switched completely over to Linux and for the sake of anyone else wondering about this, I'm going to answer my own question, which is that there's simply no need for PathSync on Linux.

Rsync is the answer - if you need a graphical interface then just add its' GUI front-ends, either Grsync, Back In Time or (the somewhat disturbingly named) Lucky Backup.
