Default How do you make/toggle to vertical TCP meters?

I've looked at the v5 default theme's rtconfig.txt and couldn't work this one out. I'd like to have my TCPs show tiny vertical meters when the height is very small and/or width is very small, and use long horizontal meters when the TCP height is increased.

I know there are vertical and horizontal meter .pngs, which I have created, but I'm not sure how to switch between them for TCPs as described above. I know it's possible because I've seen it done in themes but can't even identify the code responsible for this trick.

Thanks for any pointers!

- Mike

Default

If memory serves it won't switch to a vertical meter until you go below a certain width in pixels.
