is this behavior with not having the automation lane active behind the AI currently implemented? I'm running 5.51 and am not seeing how to have an AI without the lane active/env line active as well. cheers
otherwise if you seek mid-AI, your params may be different than you expect.
See ReaPack / mpl_Latch all automation items to edit cursor.lua.
It looks at place beetween AIs and also respect first value of fist AI left edge.
You can try assigning it to MouseModifiers/Track/LeftClick as a part of custom action conatin moving edit cursor to mouse pointer and this script.
