WDL-OL branches other than master

Simple question: For a stable WDL-OL version, should I stick with the master branch?

I saw that the VS2017 branch has a lot of new commits and, as I'm working with VS2017, I was wondering if it's worth checking this branch out. Or should I wait for a merge, since it's still "work in progress"?

How about all other branches in general? Are they considered stable? (Sorry, I'm relatively new to IPlug dev...)

vs2017 has diverged a bit because there is a big update coming soon. i would use master for now

Do you have any kind of timeline for release of an update?
