newb - Setting up Reamote to send MIDI to slave and receive simple audio back...?

I have one plugin installed on my slave computer (its a VST with an iLok).

I would like to set up Reamote to send MIDI to my slave, and have the slave just send audio (WAV) back.
I don't want the same plugin installed on Master and Slave. In fact, I can't because I don't have two iLoks.

How would I do this?

I would think you could simply send the midi out of the master comp to the slave comp. Then send the audio output of the slave comp to the the master comp.

Of course you need the proper interfaces on each comp to do this.
