I really like when active buttons/elements are glowing/lighting (especially if it's different than blue color), definitely consider that for as many elements as you can think of, fingers crossed for final version

It's too good not to have this available to us mere mortals.

So would that be as simple as scaling a bunch of images or would there be a lot of code to rewrite as well? If this work can be divided up between us somehow i think it would hugely benefit reaper.

I'm sure the WALTER would have to be entirely re-written to accommodate smaller images, sadly. I wouldn't hold your breath.

This is amazing work!.., but after a few hours of using it I find its just a bit too dark for me, I'm struggling to make sense of my arrangements.

Plus I would like to be Able to resize the mixer fader heights etc like you can in the default reaper theme.., so I back to using normal reaper theme.

got myself an Acer Nitro 5 laptop with 1050 gtx... connected it to a 4k LG TV... TOTAL BLISS NOW... damn looks so good, planning on buying an OLED maybe to get the most out of this theme? Idk

I Love this theme! There's a lot of amazing color use, just awesome on many levels.
I've started to try a quick mix, feels wonderful on my smaller 4K. But I've hit some problems right away.
The first one, the track labels are blank/dark. I'm guessing after reading your site that's because I need to install the right fonts.. I'll try that soon.

I completely love the analog mixer view and faders, they look perfect on my screen! You saved Reaper for me, it's hard to find beautiful longer style faders on my HiDPI screen. White Tie is awesome of course but it's kinda small on my screen, especially for when I do automation (which is all the time). But white tie Theme I can see all the faders and knobs at once on once screen so that's nice for finishing things.

These awesome analog faders are perrrrrrfect for Automating with my trackpad. The color of the knobs and switches are amazing. I wish I had a polarity switch (maybe there's a keyboard shortcut, still it's super nice to have a visual). It's still amazing though. One thing however.. when I started mixing I realized.... no meters. No biggie I'll just look at the master oh.. uh no meters there either. Hmm. I'm figuring it's because the theme is new and/or made this way on purpose. Or is there something I can click on to get meters?

Resize MCP upward, otherwise undock, make it full screen.

I did what you said but nothing, so I tried putting the display in portrait mode while holding the monitor sideways and stretching more. I was skeptical but sure enough the whole thing was visible. Found some polarity switches too, thanks! I think it's because I have "show sends/inserts/parameters when size permits", I had to stretch really far. Finally got it dialed. The track names are still dark, but I kinda like it anyway, I can use icons.

It looks like there’s a screen resolution limitation.

Out of curiosity, what OS are you using? What is your screen resolution, scale settings, etc.?

If you want to stick with current settings and meter is important part of your workflow, you can create custom action to switch layout between Default and Equilibrium, and assign it to keyboard shortcut, menu, toolbar, etc.

I'm using windows 10 64bit, latest Reaper 64bit, with Samsung screen 3840 x 2160.
I tried Metric on my MacBook pro with retina and it looked great. mixer view fills up the whole screen (no borders) on mac. I'm still trying to figure out how to tweak windows 10 for this screen and get the same kind of experience.

Windows 10 detects your screen and adjusts stuff size accordingly. Maybe that is messing you up. I don't remember where to change that, google is your friend though (I hate that saying, lol). Because I have tried this theme on a 4k TV with a new laptop I got that supports 4k output, and no issues at all, looks amazing. My fave theme so far.

Excellent theme! jrengmusic, this theme is just incredible, great level of detail and responsiveness. I've been using this theme on a Dell xps 15 and it's just superb.

I have only found one little thing that I'm unable to resolve. Track names in the mixer view are not visible. I have installed the fonts as per instructions on your website, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I have tried using different colour for the tracks and also editing the track name in the mixer panel, but as soon as hit enter the text becomes transparent again (see screenshot). Any other ideas on how to solve it?

Does this blank track label also occur on TCP? Which layout does this occur on MCP?

For some reason I can't make it look like in your screenshots. Track insert FX, FX parameters, Track sends, appear above the volume meters instead of below.

I tried moving handlers of all these aformentioned areas but nothing (showing different tracks to show it), and moved the VU meter's handler all the way up in a
track to make it look like your screenshots but then now there is a empty space where the Track insert FX, FX parameters, Track sends should be as your screenshots.

I tried disabling Show Fx parameters as it's not something everyone uses, to no avail,
and maximized or not the Mixer behaves the same.

Version 5.6 of Reaper. Are there any settings I am not aware of within Preferences I need to change? I used to constantly changed themes but this was never an issue.

Bah, for some reason PBucket resizes my uploads now...

Notice how the last (to the right) I dragged the VU meter all the way up, trying to make it look like your screenshots, yet it leaves an empty space below where Track FX and other things should go.
The first track I left it that way so you see how it shows up to me
by default. 3 zones but no VU meter (Track FX, SEnd, FX parameters)

I know you're busy I don't expect an solution right away, I hope in the long
run (mabye next year :P, no sarcasm) I can get it fixed because I love this theme I hope I can keep on using Reaper with this theme. Cheers.

TL;DR 2 In other words now theme works perfect, no artifacts or anything weird, BUT I can't insert FX or drag sends from one track to another using MPC, because
they are hidden above the VU meters. TCP works perefect.

Ok, I noticed after messing around with it a little bit more, and I think I am doing everything right:

For some reason, the cursor THAT/WHEN changes to a handle appears in the middle of nowhere (MPC track), very down below the track, and
I have to squint to see where it is, then drag it all the way up so the VU meters with the word GAIN above it appears as your screentshots,
leaving a space where the 3 zones (I think it's 2 in your theme moestly: Track FX inserts and Track Sends) should go.
And when I do that (Gain word at the top, VU meters at the top) I get no artifcats, so all good now.

The ONLY issue, weird I know, is that the FX inserts zone and the Send one are missing (hidden) now, because they were all the time above the VU meters,
but since I dragged (moved) all the way up the VU meters, well, now there is an empty space... too redundant, I know: Track FX insert zone and Sends zone
are above VU meters, instead of below... weird...
