Default .m4a support?

reaper cannot load m4a files? is this true for everyone? it's the format itunes rips CD tracks to by default.

Rename from .m4a to .mp4 and they should work. But yes, support for this format doesn't really exist, it's a side product of video support as I understand it.

thats dumb though. I'm sure there's a way to differentiate. I can't imagine that Logic is like "oh oh I don't know if this is a movie or a video, I give up" - know what i mean?
