Indipendent track selection in performance meter
Actions performed on single tracks in the performance meter are driven by tracks selected in timeline.
For example, if i select all tracks in the timeline and then i open the performance meter and try to mute only one track, every track will be muted instead, cause every track was previosly selected in timeline.
the correct behaviour should be:
1) track selection in performance meter should be indipendent form timeline track selection, so selecting every track in timeline then opening performance meter and trying to mute only one track will be effectively mute that track only.
or, at least:
2) performance meter should real time visually reflects the track selection in timeline and vice versa, so the user will know there is a link between timeline track selection and performanfe meter track selection
but i don't know at this moment a pratical use case where the second option could be more useful than the first
