What benefits does this entail? I don't know much about the AU spec, and a cursory google doesn't seem to provide any information about v3 differences besides iOS support.

No real benefit, just apple changing the way that AUs are instantiated (again). I think it's what's needed to be used to get your AU in the app store, too (the only AUv3's I've tested with came from the app store)

Justin, is there a way to customize the separator for #starttimecode and #endtimecode? I would much prefer dots over hyphens.

Or underscores. Dots are confusing when you have one used as a separator for file extension

Ideally, the separator would be configurable, so it fits everyone's needs
My cues for example look like that: 10m01_v1.0_10.02.03.01_SR.wav
10m01_v1.0_10_02_03_01_SR.wav would be too confusing, because the space in
between the numbers makes it look totally cluttered.

When does the wildcard-list become overwhelmed? Maybe the wildcard system could be more versatile?

There's another denormal prevention fix in 1120, but actually your += 0.0000001 fix is probably the best thing for the plug-in (that, or disabling ext_no_denormal...).

Some issue with trimmed secondary items. Same item copied to make another then both glued. Weird interaction between the two. If edge of Bottom item is extended to uncover remaining bar of CCs the CCs will ALL be selected, in Top item, by Select All. (notice last 4 are not selected in gif)
If Top item is made Active, some other strange but somewhat similar behavior will happen.

Talking of wildcards, could we possibly add wav bit depth? Or ideally a single wildcard to give us bit depth and sample rate. Thanks for the amazing work recently, and always.

Thank you, Justin.
zookthespook, the theme is Default Commala 5. I have modified a few things, like the ruler font.
