So I don't know how, is it a shortcut I keep hitting by accident or something else, I don't know but 1/10 projects I encounter problems wit playrate related changes.
Most of the time, deep into a project I discover that some items have a different playrate than others, always very odd rates like 0,983...
Most of the time it isn't an issue when I'm writing demos for myself, it al plays fine and in sync with my midi drums (both the changed playrate ones and the ones that haven't changed, see attachment) but sometimes it gave me massive problems.
Like I once bounced a dense track to a wav file to use for vocal recordings to a new project to then import the vocal stems back into the original project, somehow all the vocals got recorded in odd playrates and to get it fixed was hell.
So... is there a way to disable all of this?? I can't think of one good reasons one would change the playrate of any item, NEVER.
