Default manual recording latency settings have no effect

Hi!

I "hope" this is a bug an not just me missing something.
I recorded the metronome to check whether my recordings are in sync.
Turns out my recordings will be 950 samples delayed. I tried to adjust for that in the recording settings manual offset to ADC (tried positive and negative values), but this does not change anything.

I'm using my own custom aggregated device, maybe this is the reason?
Since I'm a groove snob this is very bad .

Thanks!
Cheers!

Hi!
I just wanted to bring this issue up, as it is really bothering me lately.
I have no confidence in reaper providing tight timing when recording audio.

I tried multiple settings (preserve PDC, monitoring on/off, different driver settings (OSX, aggregate device, etc.)), but when I record a click track and compare the recording with the original, it is always off, one way or the other.

As stated previously, the manual offset in the recording settings does not do anything.

Can someone enlighten me on how to do it? For now, I use the time delayer to offset my recordings manually, and voila, I'm finally as tight as I thought I was. This is quite bad :/

Cheers!
