Default CSI Installation Issue - Mac 10.13

Hello,

I am trying to get CSI to work with the FaderPort 8. I followed various tutorials on the subject, especially https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7idVWp7WV0. I moved the CSI folder and the dylib file in the UserPlugin folder as mentioned. Also installed SWS and ReaPack.

Now in Reaper, when I want to add a CSI device, there is no "HomePage" to select in the Control Surfaces Settings (see attachment). I can create one, but when adding a MIDI surface to it, the "Surface" and "Zone Folder" menus at the bottom of the "Midi Surface" window are unresponsive, I am therefore unable to select any mst file. What's more, if I close the Control Surface Setting window and then try to reedit it, the Page and Surface that I created are gone.

It seems like Reaper is unable to read or write in the UserPlugin folder.

I tried with both CSI 1.0 and CSI 1.1, I tried rebooting Reaper, rebooting the computer, with no effect.

Any idea ?

Cheers.

Your CSI .dylib file is in the correct place.

But it sounds like you may not have the Reaper\CSI path with the surface and zone folders or csi.ini file. You should have something like this....

My CSI folder was indeed in the UserPlugin folder... Sorry for that, and thanks for your answer. Cheers !
