Notation View Question
Does anyone know what the faint yellow line that appears between staves is called? And is there a way to get rid of it? It interferes with my selection of notes. Quite frustrating actually, as notation view is where I do most of my work. It's really slowing me down. It seems to fight me, always appearing when I'm trying to select a group of notes, and preventing me from doing so. I have to reposition the cursor constantly as a result.

The picture would help.
I use a custom theme but I suppose they are rulers and if you drag over them you draw in a time selection. I mind them too and I don't know any way to turn them off. It is just not well designed.

So this is actually causing me two headaches! And it doesn't look like there's anything that can be done about it, short of the devs deciding it merits a fix. Unfortunately, the number of people this is a problem for is probably very small, so I'm not getting my hopes up. guess it's a headache I'll have to live with.

Just tried to do some adjustments in Options, no luck. I guess I'll have to remember to start the marquee-select process above or below the middle of the space between the staves. Unfortunately, when I'm tired, I'm probably going to forget to do that...
I did make the yellow line blue, so at least I can see it better.
