Default Folder acting as a VCA group

I am new to Reaper and I'm enjoying using folder tracks. Here's an idea that came to my mind last night:

Currently a master fader of a folder acts as an output signal trim of the folder's signal subgroup.
What if there was an option for the audio signal to bypass the folder's fader entirely, with the ability for the fader to control the children's faders, either in form of a VCA or a Volume Master? This would save some time that currently needs to be spent for creating additional control faders.

In the meantime, "Script: Sexan_Create VCA Master from selection.lua" action speeds up VCA creation considerably. I've got it in my toolbar.

+1 though; it would be nice to have the option

It took me some time to get my head around the routing architecture.
And writing about this topic doesn't make it easier, since it's so convoluted.
But feel free to ask, if you got questions.

My composing template looks like this:

TCP:

Woodwind folder (this is a VCA, not sending to master)
- Flute 1 (volume controlled by VCA, sending audio ONLY to Woodwind BUS)
- Flute 2 (volume controlled by VCA, sending audio ONLY to Woodwind BUS)
...

MCP:
Woodwind BUS (sending to master)

The only downside to this approach is: when you have a send effect outside the folder and you press solo on the Woodwind BUS, the send effect is muted. So you have to set the BUS as solo master to the VCA (folder). Then, everytime you press solo, you can still hear the reverb (send).

Then I have created some scripts, that will automatically set VCA slave mode for all the child tracks (Flute 1, Flute 2, etc...) to the next parent folder, which is always a VCA.
