DANGER: VST3 !!!

I know I am not the only one having issues with VST3 plugins and some don't have.
I do not know whether it is a Reaper issue or a general VST3 issue.
I noticed some projects where not stable during playback or recording mode.
So I replaced all VST3 with VST.

And now it works!!!
No dropouts any more.
I work a lot with templates and fx chains and some fx chains can't even be loaded after saving and the reason is they contain VST3 plugins.

Changing buffer size did not help, it was just the fact VST3 plugins are buggy or Reaper just can not handle it!?

Quite a lot work to do now, have to reorganize lots of fx chains, templates and also saved fx presets, because I thought VST3 is the better standard, so I saved some presets only in VST3 plugins and unfortunately you can not copy and paste from VST3 to VST.

My main buffer size is 256 (8.8/7.8ms ASIO), WIN7, 64 bit

That's strange I have reverse situation - vst3 works fine but vst (mostly old on win7, any on macOS 10.7) can be unstable. But freeze helps)

Do you have this trouble with specific reaper version? Or with specific plugins?

All softube plugins.
IZOTOPE I stopped using, anyway too high cpu usage. Strange with Izotope, some plugins have only VST3 version, even though I choose VST2 during installation.
IZOTOPE states that their plugins are very complex. There are plugins that can do much more than any Izotope plugin with lower cpu usage and stable.
But when you google, you will notice a lot of people have issues with izotope.
First and foremost I would like to use my softube plugins with VST3 version and also ddmf.
I will not use VST3 at all any more.
One more strange things is that the gui and interface of some plugin alliance plugins is different.
VST version always looks the way it has to refering to the manual.
