Midi Choke and Slate Trigger 2
I have Slate's Trigger 2 and a ton of samples so I set up a drum kit. I have one midi track sending to all of the tracks with trigger on them triggering a different sounds.
I know that I want to use the closed HH to choke the open HH and I know how to set that up in the midi choke plugin itself. Setting it on the midi track didn't work as intended although I did notice that the open HH would not play while the close HH midi note was held down. It doesn't actually choke the sample after it starts playing though. Where should the plugin go in this case?
Or is this because I'm using Trigger specifically? FWIW trigger is filtering the midi on the way in (or at least it's only going to trigger on the one note you specify) I know I can use RS5K or I'm sure a ton of other samplers to do the choking, but trigger provides a great way to manage multiple velocities and multi mic'd samples and I'd much rather get that to work than try and make any other program function like trigger does.
Any help is of course appreciated.
