Q: Best font for "volume/pan" and Toolbar buttons?

What font have you found to be the clearest for the "volume/pan" text? The same font is used for Toolbar buttons, but they should have a separate font definition in the Theme Editor.

I've tried out a few (under Windows XP, standard and a few collected over the years) and here are the results:

Themes generally use "Arial, 7pt" but "Microsoft Sans Serif, 7pt" looks clearer to me. "Vrinda, 10pt" looks interesting but the line depth is too little; the same goes for many (all?) other fonts, so that looks like it is a Reaper issue.

I usually like "Calibri" best (in XP you have to download the Power Point Viewer 2007 first, the font is included there).

"Small Fonts" = best here

I'm using Small Fonts becuase its without smoothing which looks awfull sometimes

I use Calibri 8 bold
