Default Not Reaper Related But...

What browser are you folks using? I was using Opera until about a week ago when it suddenly froze and refuses to do anything. So now I'm using Brave but I miss the features Opera offered. So I thought I'd ask here and get some suggestions.

Thanks!

Vivaldi is the Reaper among browsers regarding customization. "Improve YouTube", "Dark Theme" and "uBlock Origin" are my favorite add-ons. I'm using a portable Vivaldi install.

Firefox and Ublock Origin here too. Probably since 2005 or something.
So... what should I be using instead?

I feel a bit dirty saying this:

I use Google Chrome

I hope I am not in violation of anything.

Wait! I do use Opera portable sometimes!
And I will try those mentioned in this thread

I prefer to keep anything Microsoft at a minimum.

The browser I use the most is Librewolf.
LibreWolf is a free and open-source fork of Firefox, with an emphasis on privacy and security.

The search engine I installed is DuckDuckgo.

I also have a VPN installed.

(privacy and security is important to me...)

All in all, no problems in terms of latency or whatever.

MyPal, the 32-bit free Windows development of Pale Moon (ex Firefox) not only plays BBC and Twitter videos (which the last 32-bit Chrome doesn't), it eliminates any YT ads whatever. Not 'Pro Secrets' clickbait, unfortunately.
It also works well with WindowBlinds (which blah blah). +ublock origin.

I've been using Firefox with NoScript for many years on both Windows 10 and Linux Mint without any issue.

Same here. Firefox with NoScript, and no other plugins.

I've used that configuration, first in Windows from 2005 to 2018, and now in Linux from 2018 on. When I made the switch to Linux, I exported my NoScript rules and all my settings in Firefox, imported them into my Linux setup, and instantly my browser was exactly like I had been using it in Windows.

I even switched my wife's machine to Linux while she was at work, and Firefox along with Thunderbird were so identical to her Windows machine, I never got one complaint.

I'm looking at Vivaldi right now. I see that it has a Speed Dial feature but can't find how to make it work?

vivaldi:settings/all/

then, start typing in what you are looking for in the search field (top left) and you should see the corresponding options.

Ok, I am either blind or stoopid or both because I'm just not seeing anywhere I can add sites to Speed Dial and have them show up anywhere.

I found those but now that they're set, how do I get it to work?
