Default Brand new laptop, going to run Linux - thoughts?

I have this beaut new laptop (have not even booted it to windows) and loaded the Elementary OS (which is really quite stunning!) so my question/s?

Is it better to run Reaper natively on Linux, and if so best way to migrate all my Sonar stuff over - OR -

Run Sonar using PlayonLinux (essentially a gui frontend for WINE) meaning all my existing plugs (especially Sampletank4 and Addictive Drums 2) will be able to be used? -OR-

Just install Reaper and use whatever linux native plugs are available (having a $ cost is fine!)

Thanks
