How to clear out old Pro Tools plugin presets? SOLVED

I am testing new builds of an AAX plugin and want to clear the Pro Tools plugin cache between tests.

I have deleted the Pro Tools cache folders under Preferences; deleted the “installedAAXplugins” file and deleted the Avid Plugin Preset folder for my plugin - but yet when I load the new plugin in Pro Tools some of the OLD presets show up in the plugin preset dropdown menu.

Where are these old presets coming from and how do I create a “fresh slate” for testing my latest plugin version and presets?

SOLVED:
#1) delete and replace - do not overwrite - the MyPlug.aaxplugin file in the Avid/Audio/Plug-ins folder
#2) delete the "MyPlug" folder under Pro Tools/plug-in settings

Now restart ProTools and it will scan and load the new plugin presets
