Default Fx Inserts/Sends In Track Panel

Hi,
Looking through the track panel layouts and I don't see one that includes the FX inserts and sends.

Is that possible? I'm not sure the point of the redundancy of having the mixer panel as well. They are essentially the same except the FX racks, are they not?

Thanks!

Check your mixer options (right-click). Mixer tracks are not redundant. They are the normal way of mixing tracks because you can see more at once in a vertical layout. Track panel is there for convenience while working in the arrangement and might only be showing a few controls if zoomed out.

A nice hybrid setup is to dock the mixer in view always for the selected track:

So having the fx in the track panels is not possible?

That's kind of surprising considering how Reaper is so customizable.

Oh well.

Thanks for the help!
