Default Cracks while playing?

Alright, well recently, today I kept being told i'm having popping/cracking noises whenever im on transmit and they're quite obnoxious. I desperately need help on fixing this, this is about all i know cause i cant hear them myself. I've checked my connection, people say my drums sound good there's just random pops i guess, maybe one of my cords has an issue but im going to try that next, please post! need help.

Have you tried recording locally to see if it's an issue before hitting NINJAM?

If that's clean, then it's down to an interaction between your PC, NINJAM and the network...

I tried recording locally in Reaper and it worked perfectly fine, i also tried rebooting as someone suggseted and that didnt work either. I tried using three different mics and they all gave popping but i know all three are good.

You've had your set up working okay, haven't you, Alex? Have you changed anything, including your ISP and soundcard settings, at all?

If you can record locally into Reaper with no problems but playing online is getting glitches, IMO it sounds like a problem with network latency.

Have any of your sessions where people have complained been recorded to AutoJam? Have you listened back and heard the crackling? Do you have the session files locally for comparison?

Lots of questions... few answers..!

Could you link a couple of streams, one showing the problem and one before it was happening?

I just listen to a few "Alex" streams with - presumably - you drumming and they sounded okay...

Could be clipping I suppose. I always put the Utility/limiter plugin right before the ReaNINJAM plugin just in case.

In my experince there's 3 possible reasons for cracks/pops during jamming:

1. High CPU-load
2. High network load (often with many jammers like on ninbot)
3. Supernatural or irrational causes

Here's some things to do:

ad 1. Cut off FX, input channels, set ReaNINJAM on a track instead of the master bus, kill other tasks etc etc

ad 2. Mute users who don't play, kill other porgrams that uses the network

ad 3. When you've found a fix for the problem, NEVER buy a new computer or component and.. er.. well.. pray.

Cracks/pops killed my interest in NINJAM :-(

I have fixed it, one of my FX was causing it.
Thanks once again everyone!
