in the top right hand corner of reaper, it currently displays the bit depth/sample rate for the project which is totally great. for me, it would be awesome if it also showed what the currently selected recording drive/directory is.
i've got 9 or 10 drives hooked up to my system and it would be a good vote of confidence to know where i'm recording to without having to delve into the project setup/preferences to double check.
I know I'd appreciate to know/see where I'm recording too.
How many times did I record in Cubase SX i.e., just to find out I had used the wrong folder and had to search audio files all over the drive!!!
+1! i actually ran into that yesterday with a close call. was recording on the wrong drive and managed get the song down then realized i only had 400 megs left.
