Hi everyone, Happy Christmas, Solstice, whatever.
Just released a song from my new coming album, completely recorded, mixed, mastered in Reaper. ...and of course with this forum community help. Thanks!
I updated the link as I found the vocal was too illegible in the music. Thanks for any comments, sharing..
Btw my new album was recorded with a huge help of my fans through crowdfunding project. I've been working on it for 6 months. And why I release this song? Generally bands reallease as the first single the best song from an album. I did the opposite. I promised to my fans that I will choose the weakest song on my album (according me) and will release it. hihi.. don't ask me why, it's czech kind of humor.. So remember this is the worst song of my album.
Excellent tune and production - thanks for sharing. Of course we musicians tend to think our best is the worst and vice versa. From doing one-man-band projects myself, I can tell this was a LOT of work, great job on that.

Damn, how your best sound like then? I love the spaced out middle section and the video is absolutely brilliant(love the dandelion fireworks and finishing everything with Confused Travolta).

Thanks a lot will share another song from the album when it's out.. worst or best, it's just subjective. I even didn't want to include this song on my album. But I kne that people will like it as I sing the song during my gigs
I think as an artist/composer you're too involved to pick the best song.
This one is good though, well very good.
Fantastic production, performance,arrangement as always.
Thanks a lot... Really glad you liked my song... btw would like to know how my singing sounds to the English native speaker? Do I have a strong accent?
Drums/percussion are dynamic, natural sounding and perfectly in place supporting the tune.I am not going to ask what speakers you are monitoring with, outboard used or pre amps etc
Very fine pop music, very sweet production, wrapped in a quality video.
Request - If you do some more Czech folk, please be selfish and leave out the world music influences/elements (that would be my preference anyway),I refer to future recordings similar to the one you posted here last year - Hajdom Hajdom (I really wanted to love that...but why it need tablas and psychedelic shrubbery TB-303 etc.?).I say this to hopefully encourage preservation of the essence of traditional European music.(Appeal? - Is the wide in fact a dillution that will return as narrow).
Hey,it's just some feedback for you to dismiss or whatever.

Thanks Prom, as to the Czech folk, I understand your point. I think everyone has a different taste for musicm, that's it.. I love psychedelic elements in music as well as I believe there is nothing like a pure traditional music. Irish music has lots of Balkan influence, using eastern instruments like buzuki, Indian music uses european instruments like guitars, violins and it sounds great. I thing that’s cool when musicians across the world influence each other. There is just one music. Btw Czech culture is derived from the eastern Europe and actually you'll find a lot of eastern and asian influence in our old czech songs, specialy songs from the moravia and slovakia. But it was nice to read your opinion Thank you

edit: the link has been updated
Congratulations!! I heard it too, Christmas dinner and Rainbow... I love it!
Really nice work. The vocals sound really "natural", for lack of a better description. They don't sound eq'ed and compressed all to heck but sound really nice and "round' in the sparse parts but still sit well in the busier parts.
That may be my R&B background that makes me focus so much on that in all music. That genre (good mid tempo R&B, not that this is R&B) has the vocals as the featured instrument quite up front as it were and there's literally no hiding them like in some pop music. If something is wrong, tuning, pitch, performance, recording, whatever, it's painfully obvious. Your vocals sound great to me.
Thanks to everyone for your feedback. And I'd like to know also your opinion about my accent, as english is not my native language. I was wondering if there is some strong accent in my English or some unpleasant elements in my accent.
