Default JS pitch + Param modulation => audible clicks?

Hello all,

I need a "vibrato" effet, you know, something that will slowly change the pitch of the input audio, in a subtle manner (a bit like wow &flutter I guess)

Well, instead of searching for a free VST, I am convinced that Reaper can do this internally. So I try to play with a JS Pitch + LFO and param modulation.

It works as expected but... each time the thing changes direction, when the top of bottom of the sine wave of the LFO is reached, it produces an audible "click".

Is this due to the fact tje JS Pitch (superpitch 2 I think) effect I use is not meant to be parameter modulated ?

Thanks for any help

sorry to bump, but I am really interested....
This is the first time I really needed to use a slightly more advanced Reaper function, and I failed miserably...

I can only imagine how modulating a pitch shifter (which is utilizing a complex algorithm) through "zero shift" may be a problem. However maybe you could simply use JS:Chorus (the simple one) with the "Dry Mix" fader turned all the way to the left, slow "Rate" and some more "Pitch Fudge Factor"?
