Default Render Selected tracks via master ignores sidechain

This new feature is ignoring my master sidechain. I have two top-level tracks in a session: Sidechain, and Master. The Master is a folder track containing the whole mix. The Sidechain track feeds into the master on channels 3-4 and above. These sidechain signals only affect sidechain inputs, and do not feed the audio channels 1-2. These sidechain effects do not see input with this option, and still the XRayM script is the only way to do this properly.

Ideas?

v5.981/x64 still not processing entire signal chain.

Here's an ASCII illustration of my chain:

T-"Solo-safe side-chain source"
T-"Master folder track receiving side-chain"
T--"Stem track in folder"
T--"Stem track in folder"
T--"Stem track in folder"

When using render selected tracks via master, the solo-safed side-chain source track is ignored, not acting on the side-chain inputs of the master folder.

In a clean slate session I've confirmed that solo-defeat tracks are ignored in rendering, which maybe is a feature, but it's counter-intuitive to me.
