Maschine MK3 in Host Transport Control mode with MCU template oddity

Hi all,

I'm a Reaper newb (refugee from a competing DAW).

I have Maschine MK3's transport working beautifully with Reaper alongside my KKMK2 using DrivenByMoss for Reaper. The transport on the KKMK2 works exactly how I expect the Maschine MK3 to function, as it does in other DAWs.

When I press stop twice on the KKMK2's transport, the playhead of Reaper and Maschine go back to the start of the project/song (awesome!), yet when I press the MK3's stop button twice, it just stops it on first press and does nothing on second press.

Does anybody know if I'm missing something blindingly obvious? If not, how do I customize Reaper's treatment of the MK3's MCU to return the playhead to the start of the project or loop?

So far I'm loving Reaper... flexibility alone makes it a no-brainer.

Perhaps that's something that needs to be covered by moss' extension?

Update: Moss doesn't have a Maschine MK3 so can't help. Hoping someone else can provide some insight about how to get the playhead in Reaper to return to the start of the project after pressing stop whilst the transport is stopped.
