Default XML layout files for Reaper and JS plugins?

Check this out. Shane's been having fun.

I've wanted to rearrange some of the plugin elements in ReaPitch and ReaComp. Perhaps this is a good approach for Reaper.

What say you, Cockos ? Inspiring ?

Hmm, XML is kind of a pain in the ass, but otherwise sounds like a nice idea...(Using text based files to do customizable layout.)

Hasn't the idea of extending Walter to the ReaPlugs been floating around the board for a while already?

The UI button in the REAPER plug-ins window toggles to a slider view. Perhaps this area can do a call out to an image folder for custom plug-in themes.
