Default Render 30 fps, yet result is 21.74 fps...?

So I render a vide with these settings:

But when I load the rendered video into Reaper, it tells me this:

(Click pic to see bigger)

So... I render 30 fps but I only get 21.74 fps. Does anyone know what's going on?

EDIT: Even if I render at 100%, I still get the resulting video at 21.74 fps...

Could it have to do with your project settings? Maybe try setting the same rate there too.

Most likely VLC is reporting the frame rate incorrectly. If I render a 30fps mkv file with ffmpeg, the resulting file is reported as 30fps with wmf, 21.74fps with vlc, and 120fps with ffmpeg. All three decoders play it back correctly though.

Yes, the project is set to 30fps.

OK, thanks. Strange that ffmpeg itself does not report 30fps.

And yes, the video plays correctly here too, so nothing to really worry about then.

Thanks
