Show VCA Automation in Another Media Lane?

Setup a VCA Master track to reduce leakage into my vocal track. I want to show that automation on my vocal media track and not in a separate lane.

Am I just stupid or am I missing something? Please help.

Hi hemisound, and welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry, but the tracks that the VCA is affecting does not give an indication of what it's doing. You have to hear the changes.

Evidently you recorded your vocal while other instruments were playing, is this right? And you want to reduce or eliminate that noise from the vocal track?

If that's the case there are better ways then using VCA. Actually a simple volume envelope on the vocal track will work just as well. Even "Take Volume Envelopes" are good for this, that's what I use.

Check the manual for track and take envelopes.

If this isn't what you're trying to do please explain a little more.
