Default How can I reduce or get rid of PDC on certain plugins? (Waves SSL EQ)

I'm struggling with PDC (plugin delay compensation) plugins and how to optimize it. I noticed it slowing down my sessions/computer when it shouldn't be considering my current specs.

Couldn't find much in the settings..

Any settings or things I can look into?

If you were to get rid of pdc on certain plugins any tracks with those plugs on will be playing out of sync so this is not the way to deal with whatever issue you are having.

If you can be more specific about the problem maybe someone can advise.

According to Waves, their SSL EQ is zero latency.

The PDC is just a value reported from the plugin to the DAW host.

Hence only the plugin developer can reduce it.

On the plugin's pin connector button and then I/O button you can disable pdc, but the track will being out of sync. Doing this is helpful for live use.

Thank you! I had another problem that I thought was PDC, but still useful for me.
