Video suddenly has stopped working! Why? [SOLVED]

I'm working on a project with a video, I opened a second tab and worked on it, when I came back to the first one with video it plays but it shows me a black screen in the video window.

I rebooted the sistem, tried other videos (that previously worked) on blank projects, tried everything there's no way to bring back the video in the video windows, I always see a black screen.

What the hell is happened?

What actions did you do before it stopped work, but after it worked?

This is the reason why I don't understand.

I opened a new tab, I worked on it with 6 track doing some piano sketch with Kontakt. Then while this project is playing I came back to the first tab and I saw that the video screen was completely black. I didn't do anything strange other than this.

I noticed that if I delete REAPER.ini file the video works but obviously I loose all of my customisations.

I tried to reproduce it on a portable version but everything works fine there.

So what I have to do now? I've to work on a big project and this is a problem for me.

Check what codec is used in your config and what is used on a portable version.
Tty to compare Video Preferences in portable version and your current one.

Now it seems to work, I don't know what I've done.

I opened the portable version, checked preferences, closed it and reopened the installed one. I didn't do anything different, what the f....

Maybe it was you.

I hope it didn't happens again because I don't know what I've done and I really don't know if it is solved.
