Default Square One - chunky dancy pop thing

I don't know how to classify what we do, in fact who does? but I'll stick my neck out and say, it's not the genre of music I typically associate with the Reaper community.

Like everything, this is arguable.

Still, Reaper-made it is.

Our beats, my synth, her voice.. give it a go!

This is not my usual thang... but you know what? It sounds actually pretty great. Excellent. Nice job.

Thanks for the kind comment =)

I was a little intrepid about posting - seeing as this has been a RockZone in the main!

I have spend several years trying to get the slick sound I had in Logic.. I don't encounter many Reap-oids making EDM (in the old sense of the word.. not this horrible thing it has become)

I agree with RM. The style is something that normally burns the guts out of my ears, but this was well-designed, well-done, kept interest, balanced the elements superbly, had terrific dynamics and enough self-conflict in it to result in something more than "chunky dancy". thanks for sharing.

It's definitely a well-thought production. Not my type of music either (mostly because of the approach to mix the vocals), but it's very good!
I certainly dig the beat.

Nice job on this...my only opinion is to make the hook catchier. If you try and make a pop song it's smart to make it so people can sing with it and I don't think you can with this. Very nice product...Where are you guys from?

I liked this alot. Really well crafted, good mix and nice sounds.

I usually prefer indy/rock type stuff but have recently been doing some midi based stuff so I'd like to see more from you guys and on Reaper generally.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and feedback guys, sorry the tardy response, I think I spammed our notifications.

Camerondye - we are from the UK. Although I thought it was quite catchy, you are not the only person to say that. Thankyou for giving constructive feedback - we would otherwise be makign music in a vaccum.

It's only our first one - look forward to sharing more here soon!

Sort of Abba meets Aphex-Twin. Good ideas here. Camerondyne has it right. Stronger melody and more hook needed to get you where you want to go.
