Default contextual toolbars with the notation editor?

Is it possible to use a contextual toolbar with the notation editor? Alternatively is it possible to use an alternative set of actions?

I think you would be wasting your time with contextual tool bars.

Really it’s just a matter of having a window that auto closes, the regular toolbar via shortcut can’t do it.
