Default is this BUG? TCP interlaced meters have a ghost image

When meters are set to interlaced, the TCP meters have a ghost image going across the track and TCP.
Is this a bug or is there a way to stop this?
I'm using a screenshot from hwhalen Simple Theme since it's a much clearer example than what I see in my themes.

Hey Lucas, Never here, long time, no see, lol!
Sorry for the delayed thread entry, but I have been hit or miss around here.
I have spent a great deal of time messin around with the meters on TCP layouts,
only to find out that the WALTER that applies to the MCP panels, while exact in that
regard, DO apply to the TCP, but with less than precise results, in terms of pixel
count, etc., when playing '.PNG Pong'. LOL.
I have also toyed with every possible variation in terms of metering display,
but could you be just a bit clearer about what exactly you mean by 'ghost image',
for example, to edit your screencap, with like some John Madden type notation....arrows
and notes and such, I am interested in the phenomenon
for creation sake, and as always, I am interested in everything you do, and I see you recently
resurrected our dear Albert X's original SSL theme, which was the forerunner and basis of Solaris. Kudos.

On another note, I am thinking about a thread dealing with resurrecting and finishing WIP themes that people
were crazy about, but never came to fruition. It would deal with time scale issues....how long we wait for DEV reply
before going for it, and moral standpoint issues, asking if users feel it would be a good thing,
a bad thing, or what....idk....just wanted your opinion......take for example the 'ASCEND'
theme by @Jeff Estrada which will clearly never see the light of day.
Sorry to be off topic, should have PM'd this last portion, but no one else is posting in this thread anyway.
Back to your problem....I wanna help....let me know.

Regards, Never

Hi Never,

Thanks for the reponse.
See the attached image for clarification of what I'm talking about.
When Interlaced Meters is checked in the Theme Tweaker, you get faint vertical lines in a horizontal strip for an active meter.
Notice there are no lines in the non-active meter below it.
I did notice when editing that when I enlarged it, I couldn't see the issue, so it's very subtle.

RE: WIP themes that appear to be abandoned.
I think this is a good topic and deserves it's own thread.
Make a thread for it and I will give my answer there.

Re: the Ascend theme
Jeff posted a follow-up on 12-12-2017
he's still working on it.

Still not quite sure what you mean with "faint vertical lines in a horizontal strip for an active meter". Could you maybe point them out by circling some of them for an example? Only faint lines I can make out of that picture are the temporary peak indicator lines, I guess you don't mean those though?

Hi Lucas,
I can't see those ghost images either in your screenshot, even if I zoom in to 6000+ % in PS.

Maybe it has s.th. to do with OS?

White Tie mentioned this a while ago, but in another context. Not sure, if that helps in any way, but only wanted to mention it...

Peter

The lines are ghost replications of the meter extending from the meter to the right and left of the meter.
The arrows in the file attached to my second post indicate the continuation of the meter ghost lines, not single points.

I checked this thread at work and the lines don't show up on it.
The work machine is a Mac connected to a Benq 1920x1200 monitor.
The home machine is Windows connected to 39" 1920x1080 TV.
so it's possibly just my monitor.

I can live with it if no one else sees them.
Hopefully they'll disappear when I upgrade to a 4K display.

Peter
As I mentioned in my second post, the lines disappear when I zoom in on the PNG file.
Since this is a graphic image, I don't think it's related to the issue White Tie posted.
As I mentioned above to xpander, I didn't see it on the machine at work and so far no one can see it, so it's probably just my home display.

Thank you both and Never for taking a look.

As always awaiting to see your next
project. I understand what you mean though.
Its a scaling thing. faint to almost
non existent things can be made very crisp
and contrasted when scaled down. Especially
the lines in the vu meters. Screenshots especially
can make vu meters look like garbage if
when viewing them one does not take the
time to view at 100%.
