Default New Free Windows VST from SmackLabs

All,

Please check out my next 2 new plugs that im releasing for free.

SL532 console EQ and the SL543 console compressor.

The SL532 is a 3-band eq with HPF and a "color" circuit. The SL543 is compressor with 2 modes, feed forward and feed backwards. Both modes act totally differently giving you 2 compressors in one.

Both plugins are based off of modules found in the modern 5K consoles and are pretty CPU efficient.

They can be found here:
smacklabs.wordpress.com

Everyone should have the tools to create amazing projects!

Any possibility of these going 64-bit?

All, thanks for the support!

Please help get the word out and get these into people's hands to use.

No haven't posted them on KVR.

I would love to work on 64-bit versions, however i'm limited to 32-bit with the software i design and develop these plug-ins in. I can say though, that they all work in J-Bridge on my test system and i'm even running them in my ProTools 12HD Native system with J-Bridge and DDMF's Metaplugin without issue.

Sadly, an fair few of us on here have made the decision to go all 64bit wherever possible & I for one dont see myself going back. Everything runs great and I don`t ever have to worry about ram bottlenecks, etc.
I can see where you are coming from... maybe the dev of your authoring software might eventually go 64bit????

As someone who is all 64-bit at the moment, I would actually pay for 64-bit versions. These look great.

I tried out the compressor today, and its definitely a keeper. Thanks.

The Eq is useful, for broad strokes. I am certain it will find a place. Thanks, Less is really more.I find it really excellent for quick editing of voice overs, or backing music to fit in with other audio, and also for quick amateur "mastering" of a stereo mix.

I only wish a simple manual were included or some description on your web site, for each of the controls. I had to use VST Analyser to be absolutely sure of what each of these controls did, especially for the eq.
